With Brecon Beacons on our doorstep, there are plenty of local attractions that you could make use of during your visit to the area. These could include:

Aberdulais Falls

This National Trust spectacle is truly something beautiful. A gorge formed 20,000 years ago, which now homes a river and a flash flood river is a local landmark

Brecon Beacons Mountain Centre, Libanus

The National Park Visitor Centre at Libanus is renowned for offering a warm welcome. The centre has a Tea Rooms which offers full breakfasts, lunch and snacks, so if you want to fill up during a ride around the Brecon Beacons, this could be the place.

Craig-y-nos Country Park and Castle

Craig-y-nos Country Park is home to a 400-acre Victorian garden, shady woodlands, meadows, ponds and rushing rivers. This historic attraction is a great one to visit.

Cefn Coed Colliery Museum

Once a thriving coal mine, Cefn Coed Colliery Museum now operates as a museum. If you want to learn a little history about the thriving industry of the local area, then this is an interesting spot.

Penderyn Whisky Distillery

Penderyn Whisky is famous for its award-winning single malt whisky. Produced in the foothills of Brecon Beacons, this could be your opportunity to take a look around. If it's a pit stop on your bike though, be careful with the tasters!
